Consultant Dermatologist and Clinical Lead

Dr Anita Takwale is a UK- trained NHS Consultant Dermatologist and the President of the British Hair and Nail society. She has been leading the specialist tertiary referral Hair service at Gloucestershire hospitals NHS foundation trust for the past 12 years. She has published extensively, is actively involved in training, is on the panel updating the national ‘alopecia areata’ guidelines, is  involved in clinical research and is a frequent invited speaker at conferences.
